Although still a respectable record, the Broncos showing yesterday against the Ravens was far from a decent performance. I don’t think I ever though the Broncos would remain undefeated; however, I sure wish their offense would have put up more of a fight.

Broncos can clinch playoff spot today

Cowboys fail again
14 01 2008I don’t know what was more pathetic, Tony Romo crashing and burning towards the end of the game or Terrell Owens crying like a little girl because he doesn’t think it’s fair that his QB take the blame for the loss. Sorry, T.O., the QB usually takes the wrap. In this case, it’s warranted.
Hey Tony, I know coach told you guys to take some time off from football, but do you think gallivanting around Mexico with your girlfriend was the best way in which to prepare for the post season… especially after your lackluster performance during the month of December? The look of utter disappointment on the face of Jerry Jones was priceless. Fail.

26 12 2007After yet another embarrassing loss to the San Diego Chargers, the Denver Broncos have something else of which to be upset. Philip Rivers, the not-all-that-talented Chargers QB, decided to show what a great sportsman he is by jawing at Jay Cutler towards the end of the game. Of course, he denies it; however, the camera caught it, as did the Broncos and just about every television viewer.
This, however, is not the first incident of “unsportsmanlike conduct” from Rivers. He was caught trash-talking the Vikings earlier in the year. Funny thing, though, he had absolutely nothing to talk trash about with the Vikings, as they were doing a fine job tearing the Chargers a new ass.
Hey Phil, how about learning how to act with a little more class and tact and act as if you’ve won a game before. You only make yourself look like a total douchebag. Oh, and by the way, Champ Bailey was right on the money… you’re not a “respectable guy” and “really not a great player.” You just happen to be lucky to have one hell of a running back.
